Located just next to Moskovskiy Park, the Saint-Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex (SKK Peterburgsky) was called V. I. Lenin Sport & Concert Complex in Soviet time. Built with local material, it opened in 1980 for the Moscow Summer Olympic Games. It is the largest arena in Saint Petersburg and one of the largest and most prestigious venues in Europe.
The arena holds up to 25,000 people and is used for various sports, notably tennis, as it is the location of the Saint Petersburg Open. It has previously hosted the 2009 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships.
